Q: What should I wear?

A: Many rope bottoms wear athletic or yoga style clothing, body suits or underwear for bottoming in rope (I.e. rope casual). The only rule is genitals must be covered (going topless is okay). For going up in suspension, an underwire bra is not recommended. Otherwise, wear whatever you're comfortable in!

Q: I don't feel like the typical rope bottom, will I fit in?

A: Anyone of any shape or size can bottom for rope. Our attendees cover the full spectrum of people!

Q: Do I need to bring my own rope?

A: Preferably yes, but we have loaner rope available for those who don't have, as well as rope for purchase.

Q: Are refreshments available?

A: To minimize waste, please bring your own reusable water bottle. Complimentary water bottles are available in the fridge (cold) or beside it (room temp). Please write your initial on the bottle to avoid confusion.

Q: How do I find a rope partner?

A: The open rope parties are a great place to meet that elusive rope partner. In addition, we have a tops and bottoms meet up thread on our group. Email TorontoKinbakuSalon@gmail.com if you don’t know where to find it.

A: The minimum age is 19

Q: Is Alcohol permitted?

A: BYOB, drink responsibly, public intoxication or playing under the influence will not be tolerated.

Q: Are drugs allowed?

A: No playing impaired, No illegal substances, No smoking in the building.

Q: Is smoking or vaping allowed?

A: Smoking and vaping is not permitted within the building.
